About RADAR

The Real Accountability: Data Analysis for Results (RADAR) project is an initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by the Institute for International Programs at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU-IIP). It is an initiative to increase the availability of reliable data for low- and middle-income country (LMIC) programs in reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition (RMNCH&N) and to promote evidence-based decision-making with respect to RMNCH&N in settings.

To facilitate the collection of high-quality data, the RADAR team is developing, applying and refining six tools, each associated with a key aspect of strong evaluation of RMNCH&N programs. They are designed as a harmonized suite, but organizations are able to select individual tools to incorporate into their evaluation plans. RADAR also provides technical assistance to GAC-funded partners in collecting and analyzing data and interpreting the resulting findings. The project has been in operation since April 2016.
